Billy And The Mirror

I stare. I do this often. There's a certain comfort in wondering if your own reality is, in fact, real. Him or me? This side or that side?
I force my eyes to look the other way for a few seconds, I let myself slowly drift and unfocus. I stand still, so still I wonder if some higher power has pressed a big pause button, I whip my eyes back to the mirror; I'm trying to catch him out, to prove that I'm the real one. No. He still mimics me faultlessly.
I wonder, if I break the mirrorwill I find him waiting on the other side? Will I shatter him into little pieces? Will I shatter into little pieces?

The Dance Of The NeedfulShe opened her mouth, pockets of air bubbled to the surface of the water making that little blip noise. She opened her mouth again but nothing came out. Water just rushed in. Eyes tight for an instant until realisation came rushing into her. Eyes open wide, water stinging her unprotected retinas. Water in her ears, crashing, muffling everything. Sudden pain in her chest, she was breathing yet nothing came. Her hands spread out wide, arms pushing down, pushing and pushing. the last time I wrote anything of much worth was 2007 (maybe before), I would say I inted to change this, but in all honesty I intend to do a lot of things that I just dont.

So anyway, the creative juices have been decidely running dry, there are, I guess, a few bits and pieces I could put up here, namely my PTV story and the background info to 'sketcher' (you know who you are

)

Long story short, maybe I'll write more, maybe I wont. I wont bind myself to it either way.
